I don’t know where my desire for starting a campaign for a good cause (or a positive message) sprouted from. It probably started when I was making posters for a school assignment and I choose the theme of love and hate.

I was really into this assignment because we were allowed to do whatever we wanted, and for some reason I gravitated towards the words ‘love’ and ‘hate’. Although they were simple, they become some of my favorite pieces of work.

I want to make t-shirts and big posters with these designs. I posted these on Facebook and have gotten good feedback with people telling me I should make them into shirts. That’s when I started really seriously consider doing something like a campaign.

The picture above is me holding laser cut pins I made from my work place. I’m thinking of incorporating them into my campaign. I want to sell them to come up with donations for different kinds of charities people would like me to donate to. I got a lot of planning to do. :P

I wish it was longer! I’ve been able to catch up on my sleep and I feel so energized. I got my sleeping schedule on the right track to so I naturally wake up at 6AM without feeling groggy. Still, I don’t know where the time has flown!

I’ve been trying to work on this design for days. I can’t quite think of what I should illustrate on it. It was initially inspired by Candy Land but I don’t want to take all the elements from Candy Land for this design. I’ll probably draft out some designs for a rainbow layered cake or something. I know what I want to do for the content and everything else, but the actual design is bugging me out so much. What else should I vector out? Licorice, candy canes, cookies, marshmallows?

And I really want to get Digital Epidemic up but I don’t know what happened to the board. It was re-installed but.. it just disappeared? The files are all in the ftp but we can’t physically access the files on browsers. Which is lame because I do have a design for it. -_- I also have a design for my portfolio as well, but I can’t decide if I just want to hand code everything into one page or use WordPress. I’m leaning towards a one page design..

Things to do:

• re-do college transfer essay.
• clean my room/house for lunar new years
• prepare for upcoming semester
• start projects and campaigns
• make more pins at the FabLab
• commissions and other designs
• posts for beauty blog
• get portfolio up

I wish there was more time before I have to go back to school..

Now that winter break has started, I’ve been catching up on my zZz’s! For some reason, this last semester, during a week or two before my finals until the last day of school has been crazy. Papers, projects, presentations, and finals totally kicked my arse! I actually STAYED in school for at least nine hours sometimes because I needed to study or finish a project. This is something of a feat because I loathe staying extra hours for almost anything, lol.

Since school held up a LOT of my time (to the point where I only saw my significant other a handful of times) I’m planning to spend some time with my family and friends more. I rarely even texted anyone or replied because it simply just wasn’t a priority for me at the time. Time to change that and better prepare for next semester.

Also now that winter break has started, I get to catch up on some videos games, and most definitely get some of my sites revamped and back up! I started to re-do Kueenie.com‘s layout and plan to start posts from scratch. I’d figure with the new year creeping up, a new beginning for the beauty blog was long overdue.

Also, I’ll try to get Digital Epidemic back up as well. We had a serious problem with spam bots because the old script has some security issues so my co-founder deleted everything and installed the new script. Hopefully I can get to design the layout for it soon.

I also need to send out some of these late gifts to people. I’m such a mess, LOL.
